Make-Up Special Effects

Come and join our 3-day Make-up Special Effects course!

In this course, you will learn a range of basic SFX techniques and prosthetic applications, and learn how to create a variety of SFX Burns and Trauma (cuts, wounds and bruises). You will finish the course by creating an SFX character.  

Students will collaborate with the Film-making School Holiday Programme students to produce a short film. The SFX ranges from cuts and bruises, all the way to zombie creation!

Students get to take home a small Body FX kit, (included in the course price) that has latex, wax, blood, bruise wheel, and sponge in it so you can practice some more at home.

Time: 9am – 3pm

This programme is a School Holiday Programme designed for secondary school students. To enrol you must be Year 9 - 13.
