Amr came to New Zealand in 2017 to start his PhD in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics at
Auckland University of Technology (AUT) which he finished in 2020. During that time, he also worked at AUT as a Lecturer in Information Security Management.
He is currently also teaching the Certificate in Information Technology & Client Support course. He has worked at the David Goldman Informatics Centre in the UK as a Research Assistant and conducted a number of successful projects with MasterCard to support clients with digital features to facilitate their transactions through their mobile phones.
